BoundAlive was created with the sole purpose of making music that relates to listeners on an intense emotional level. BoundAlive's unique style of Hard Rock and Metal connects with people across the board. Audiences can still feel and hear BoundAlive’s influences from the 80's Thrash Metal and 90's Grunge movements.

BoundAlive started in 2006 when guitarist and vocalist Bryan Pearsall and guitarist Danny Sainovski who had been playing together for over 5 years and known each other for much longer, decided to work on their own music and start their own band. Bryan and Danny had gone through a variety of musical projects and finally found a drummer that could keep up with them. Soon after, they started working on new songs and finding a way to push the boundaries with their musical talent. In late 2006 they found guitarist Jorge A. Avila thanks to the world wide web and they presented him with the songs they had been working on. Impressed with what he had just heard and seeing the potential that this band had, Jorge decided to go ahead and take a chance by switching from being a guitar player to a bass player and join the band as the last and final piece of what would become BoundAlive.

In February 2007, BoundAlive recorded a three song demo in just under 10 hours of studio time that included recording, mixing and editing. The idea was to give the world a taste of what was to come and the response was phenomenal.

After intensive disagreements and constant arguing about band member's lack of desire, BoundAlive decided to part ways with their drummer. Right away, BoundAlive found a drummer that could really keep up with them and show as much desire and passion for music as them in Robert Ciesla.

Rob came into the band 2 months prior to BoundAlive's CD Release Party of their debut CD "Esprit De Corps". Rob not only learned 10 songs in two months but he made them better than ever before! BoundAlive went on to sell out their CD Release Party and even had Marc Rizzo of Soulfly opened for them at Dingbatz in Clifton, NJ. BoundAlive has evolved positively throughout the last two years and has also become a stronger unit through these trials.

Now, BoundAlive is finally where it needs to be. Better & tighter than they have ever been. All pieces have fallen in the right places. Drums for our debut album "Esprit De Corps" were re-recorded and the songs have also been re-mixed by Scott Metaxas of Nuclear Assault & Prophet. The album has been mastered by Stephen Deacutis (Atlantic Records, Columbia Records, etc...l)
